Oscar's Hidden Notebook

This page wasn't meant to be found. Or maybe it was. Either way, if you're here, you know the story is more than a book. It's a trail of cracked mirrors and unfinished prayers.

Fragments & Quotes

“Willie never argued to win—he wasn’t built that way. But when he did come at you, it was deliberate. Like a man who’s been sitting quiet too long, sharpening his truth on a whetstone made of your own blind spots.”
“It wasn’t a marriage, not legally. But the gods don’t recognize paperwork.”
“There are places in this world where the laws go soft. Time gets drunk. That’s where we found each other.”
“Oscar writes like he’s apologizing for a prophecy.”

Related Lore

  • Oscar Slamp: ghost-writer, grief-walker, unreliable narrator
  • Willie Lyonsan: rootless romantic, poet by accident
  • Samlai: the woman who waited with rice in her hair
  • Wasum: the niece with the wild eyes and prophetic timing
  • The Buffalo: unnamed, unbothered, probably a monk in disguise
